In a timeframe of a year, my son went from saying one-word sentences to full sentences. Improved speech means he is less frustrated about trying to be understood (less tantrums!). It's wonderful to see his personality blossoming, he is not the extremely shy boy I thought he was, he is a confident little boy. Neil really listens to my concerns, answers my emails promptly and tailors the sessions to what works best with my son. He even incorporates my son's interests (Lego, road signs) into the sessions. My son loves his sessions and we are very happy with the service and results.

Neil Gordon has been working with my son for several months and has taught us something new every week that we as a family have been able to work on with our son.
My son is aged 3, has ASD and was non verbal and lost in his own world when we first visited Speech Therapy. Neil initially taught him how to communicate with PECS which transformed his life and gave him a means of communication. Following on from this, Neil has taught my son how to verbally request things, how to enjoy playing with others and how to engage in imaginary play.
My son now has a vocabulary that he uses daily and no longer needs the PECS. Neil is now working on increasing his vocabulary and verbal communication skills.
Thanks to Neil my son is no longer lost in his own world, is fully engaged with the environment and people around him and able to communicate his needs.
My son has displayed some difficult behaviour during his sessions and Neil has dealt with this patiently and professionally and has worked creatively to keep him engaged in the sessions.
Neil has given me valuable advice re: how to help my son at home which has been very helpful. I can't thank Neil enough for what he has helped me to achieve with my son and I would highly recommend him.

Our son has made significant progress towards becoming a confident speaker since he started therapy with Neil. He is becoming more confident with constructing and using good sentences at home and school. His ability to follow simply and complex instructions has improved immensely. The provision is delivered with great sensitivity and is centred around empowering him as an individual. Neil continues to demonstrate tremendous understanding of our son's needs and is always willing to listen and adapt methods to ensure successful outcomes for him, immediate and long-term. High expectation is evident and sessions are always well resourced.
